Some Best Practices

  • Close heavy graphical applications before disconnecting from X2GO when possible.
  • Compile your applications with the appropriate vectorization options and instruction sets. Except for nodes cnd[01-12], which support AVX, all other nodes support AVX2.
  • Specify a correct estimate of your job runtime — a well-estimated job duration helps smooth job scheduling.
