Intel Processors Skylake (6th generation) :

The "skylake" nodes cnc[01-64] et cnf[01-08] includes 72 nodes connected in a 100Gb low-latency network, each node having two Skylake-type processors Intel Xeon Gold 6130 Processor (each includes 16 cores running at 2.10Ghz, or 32 cores per node) and 192 GB of RAM. It is adapted to massively parallel applications.

The only real difference between the Skylake (6th generation) and Broadwell (5th generation) processors is that the first ones have more efficient calculation instructions. So they are able to generate more operations per second (flops) that the Broadwells which have only one condition to recompile the programs with the right options to allow the use of these new registers (AVX512).

Intel Processors Broadwell (5th generation) :

The "standard" nodes cn(a/b)[01-64] includes 128 nodes connected in a 100Gb low-latency network, each node having two Broadwell processors Intel Xeon E5-2683 v4 (each includes 16 cores running at 2.10Ghz, or 32 cores per node) and 128 GB of RAM. It is adapted to massively parallel applications.

The "high-frequency" nodes cne[01-16] includes 16 nodes connected in a 10Gb ethernet network, each node having two processors "high-frequency" (hf) Intel Xeon E5-2637 v4 (each includes 4 cores running at 3.5Ghz and 128 GB RAM). It is adapted to serial or slightly parallelized applications.

The gpu nodes "Tesla P100" gpb[01-06] includes 6 nodes connected in a 100Gb low-latency network, each node having two Broadwell processors Intel Xeon E5-2683 v4 (each includes 16 cores running at 2.10Ghz, or 32 cores per node and 128 GB of RAM) and 4 cartes NVIDIA Tesla P100.

The gpu nodes "GTX" gpc[01-04] partition includes 4 nodes connected in a 100Gb low-latency network, each node having two Broadwell processors Intel Xeon E5-2683 v4 (each includes 16 cores running at 2.10Ghz, or 32 cores per node and 128 GB of RAM) and 2 cartes GEFORCE GTX 1080 Ti

Intel processors from Ivy Bridge (3rd generation) :

The "ivy" nodes cndi[01-12] partition includes 12 nodes connected in an Infiniband 40Gb low-latency network, each node having two processors Intel Xeon E5-2640v2 2.0 GHz each with 8 cores running at 2.0 Ghz and 64 GB RAM. It is adapted to parallel applications.

Limitations in time and resources of a job

The following limitations in terms of resources and duration are applied to the mesocentre for each job submitted:
